Minutes of the August 14, 2008 Meeting
Present: Raymond Vaillancourt, Thaddeus Buczko
Sign off approvals, Mayor Driscoll, Robert Lutts
The meeting was called to order by Raymond Vaillancourt at 5:30 P.M.
The fourth quarter report was handed out for month ending 6/30/08.
A statement from Deschamps Printing Co., Inc. was received for letterhead ($180.00). Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve payment from the Administration Fund. Thaddeus Buczko seconded the motion.
Kiddieland submitted tickets for rides from the Read Fund Picnic. Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve $219.00 from the Picnic Funds. The motion was seconded by Thaddeus Buczko.
A check for $4,250 was received from the City for the Perpetual Care Fund.
The check will be forwarded to the Eastern Bank to be deposited to the Perpetual Care line item.
The Salem Council on Aging submitted three requests. Thaddeus Buczko made a motion to approve $270.72, $359.97 from the Endicott Fund and $70.00 from the Discretionary Fund. The motion was seconded by Raymond Vaillancourt.
Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve the minutes of the July 10, 2008 meeting. The motion was seconded by Thaddeus Buczko.
Scholarship awards for the Beane, Low, and Angelico funds will be dispersed this month.
Interest earned for the Nichols and Read Library funds will be allocated this month.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
